Ingredients

600 grams of Cooked, salted cassava

1 Egg

200 grams of Crushed crackers

200 grams of Flour

500 grams of Ground beef

3 Hard-boiled eggs

2 Medium onions

¼ Red bell pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this delicious recipe, start by mashing the cooked cassava until forming a dough.

Step 2 : In a pot with a little oil, sauté the chopped onion, garlic, and add the bell pepper.

Step 3 : Once halfway cooked, add the meat and let it cook, seasoning with salt and spices to taste.

Step 4 : Cook the egg until hard, peel it, and mix it with the meat to prepare the croquette filling.

Step 5 : Beat the egg, separating the whites and yolk, add a little water and salt.

Step 6 : In another bowl, mix the crushed crackers and flour.

Step 7 : Form a round layer similar to that of a typical empanada with the cracker and flour mixture.

Step 8 : In the center of each dough portion, place one or two spoonfuls of filling and shape the croquette.

Step 9 : Roll each croquette in the beaten egg, then cover it with the cracker and flour mixture.

Step 10 : Fry the croquettes in a pan with oil until golden.
