Cheese chipa is a traditional Paraguayan delight that combines the softness of grated cheeses with the tender texture of the dough. Perfect for sharing at gatherings, it’s prepared quickly and baked until golden. An ideal option to enjoy on any occasion.
The cheese chipa buns are made with a mixture of cassava starch, butter, grated cheeses, baking powder, eggs, and warm milk, carefully kneaded until a manageable dough is achieved.
Form the buns and let them rest on a greased and floured baking sheet.
Bake at medium temperature for 25 minutes until they turn an irresistible golden color.
