Ingredients
1 kilogram of Wheat flour
2 tablespoons of Pork or beef fat (for the dough)
1 Egg
2 cups of Warm water
1 tablespoon of Salt
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, start by placing the flour on the table and making a well in the center.
Step 2 : Then, add the salt, fat, egg, and warm water.
Step 3 : Combine all the ingredients and knead for 15 minutes, pounding the dough against the table to ensure it’s well incorporated.
Step 4 : Once the dough is fluffy, let it rest for 15 minutes.
Step 5 : Shape small balls the size of a mandarin and flatten them with your hand to form a round shape.
Step 6 : Make a small hole in the center of each ball.
Step 7 : Then, fry them in a mixture of fat and a little hot oil.
Step 8 : Once fried, place them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Step 9 : These delicious doughnuts can be served alone or sprinkled with sugar and a touch of honey — perfect for enjoying any time of the day!
