Ingredients

200 grams of Margarine

300 grams of Chopped scallions

1 Diced potatoes

1 Chopped red pepper

2 Skinned and chopped tomatoes

3 Diced carrots

500 grams of Sliced beef sirloin

1 tablespoon of Sweet paprika

1 tablespoon of Ground cumin

1 pinch of Salt

1 tablespoon of Seedless raisins

200 grams of Green olives

24 Empanada discs

1 Egg

1 pinch of Pepper

Preparation

Step 1 : In a skillet, heat the fat and caramelize the onions until they are translucent.

Step 2 : Then, add the meat and once it begins to cook, add salt, pepper, potatoes, carrots, and finally cumin with paprika.

Step 3 : Remove from heat and incorporate the olives, raisins, egg, and adjust the salt, remembering that the empanadas should not be as salty as traditional Tucumán or Salta ones.

Step 4 : Once the filling is cold, proceed to assemble the empanadas, either by baking or frying until golden.
