2 Onions

2 Garlic cloves

300 grams of Ground meat

Oil

Salt, pepper, and nutmeg

Grated cheese and small pieces of butter for sprinkling

1 cup of Thick white sauce

Preparation

Step 1 : To prepare this recipe, it is important to start by selecting large zucchinis with firm, smooth skin.

Step 2 : Once chosen, they should be softened in boiling water until they are tender enough to be hollowed out easily, taking care not to overcook.

Step 3 : Once the zucchinis are ready, remove them from the water and let them cool.

Step 4 : Then, hollow each one out using a teaspoon, saving the pulp for the filling.

Step 5 : Slightly salt the inside of the zucchinis and place them upside down on a tray while preparing the filling.

Step 6 : For the filling, finely chop the onion and garlic, then caramelize them in a skillet with a little oil.

Step 7 : Next, add the ground meat and season to taste.

Step 8 : Cook the meat until well done, then remove from heat and drain in a colander to remove excess liquid.

Step 9 : Next, squeeze the pulp of the zucchinis and incorporate it into the meat mixture.

Step 10 : Add the thick white sauce seasoned with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Step 11 : Using this mixture, fill the zucchinis and place them on a greased baking tray.

Step 12 : Finally, sprinkle the zucchinis with grated cheese and small pieces of butter, then gratin in the oven until golden.

Step 13 : And that’s it! A delicious, gratin-ready dish to enjoy.
