Ají de gallina
Ingredients
1 Chicken breast or chicken
2 Yellow peppers
1 Onion
1 cup of Milk
5 Bread
8 Pecans
2 Boiled eggs
5 Boiled potatoes
1 Flavor cube
3 Parsley sprigs
Preparation
Step 1 : To prepare this delicious dish, start by boiling the chicken breast with salt, then remove and shred it.
Step 2 : Meanwhile, soak the bread in milk, and once well soaked, blend it together with the peppers, previously deseeded.
Step 3 : In a saucepan with preheated oil over low heat, add half of the chopped onion into small cubes and let it brown.
Step 4 : Next, add the blended mixture and when it boils, add the flavor cube, stir slightly, adjust the salt to taste, add the shredded chicken, and finally the pecans.
Step 5 : Peel the eggs and slice them, peel the potatoes and cut them in half.
Step 6 : To serve, place two potato halves on a plate, pour the ají de gallina over them, and add two slices of boiled egg.
Step 7 : For decoration, sprinkle chopped parsley.
Step 8 : This dish can be accompanied with white rice if desired.
