Homemade potato gnocchi are a traditional dish in Argentina, especially on the 29th of each month. They are prepared by boiling potatoes, mashing them, adding egg, salt, olive oil, and flour. The gnocchi are shaped, cooked in boiling water, and served with your favorite sauce. A homemade delight.
Once the potatoes are cooked and mashed, add the egg, salt, olive oil, and flour in a careful process until achieving a smooth mixture.
Divide the dough into portions to roll out and cut pieces, then mark them with a fork.
The gnocchi are cooked in boiling water and removed when they float, ready to be enjoyed with your favorite sauce.
