Ingredients

4 tablespoons of Fat or lard

½ kilogram of Flour

½ cup of Water

2 teaspoons of Salt

Oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1 : Sifted flour is placed in a bowl and a piece of fat at room temperature is added in the center.

Step 2 : Using the tips of your fingers, mix to incorporate the fat with the flour.

Step 3 : Gradually add the salted water and continue kneading until a dough ball forms.

Step 4 : Knead the dough energetically until blisters form on its surface.

Step 5 : Let it rest for 1 or 2 hours.

Step 6 : Then, small dough balls are cut, pressed with the palm of the hand, and punctured with a fork.

Step 7 : The patties are fried in very hot oil or fat, removed with a slotted spoon, and placed on paper to drain.
